INDUSTRIAL KITCHENS FOR SCHOOLS & EDUCATION
A great deal of well documented pressure to improve the quality
and nutritional value of their food has been placed on schools
and colleges over the last few years. Nelson Catering Equipment
has been involved with schools helping to provide solutions for
ensuring the right school kitchen is in place to fulfil the
requirements of this exciting push for improved nutrition and food
education.
More schools are bringing all, or some, of their catering in
house while others are sourcing healthier foods. Also, to encourage
children to try foods that they might be unfamiliar with, some
have been more inventive with their presentation.
The design team at Nelson Catering Equipment has worked with
many types of commercial kitchen in college kitchens and university
kitchens, state and private school kitchens to nurseries and playschool
kitchens.
Whether you’re feeding 30 little mouths or 3000 larger ones,
we can design the school kitchen you need to ensure nutritional
values can be met and rigid serving times can be adhered to.
Out team includes commercial catering equipment consultants,
industrial kitchen designers, catering equipment engineers, commercial kitchen installers and
project managers, so, whatever you need, we are able to provide
it. And, with our in-depth knowledge of health and safety legislation,
we can advise you on areas that will be scrutinised by an Environmental
Health Officer and offer solutions to address them.
We also design and install school food service serveries to display and maintain
the food in its peak condition. Our expertise in this area can
dramatically improve the congestion caused by the lunchtime rush.
It will also encourage students to make a good, healthy selection
which, in turn, will help them stay fitter and can even help improve
concentration.
